Hit-and-Run Accident Leaves Homeless Woman Dead 

LAPD reported a fatal hit-and-run accident in Wilmington on Saturday, April 16th.

The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. at E Street and Figueroa Place. 

According to reports, Olivia Espinoza, 56, was sleeping on the sidewalk when a GMC SUV ran off the roadway and onto the sidewalk, running her over. 

The driver got out of the car and jumped into a Nissan Altima and fled the scene. 

Police are offering an award up to $50,000 to anyone who has information on the suspect.
