Car Accident on Highway 24 near Caldecott Tunnel in Oakland

At least one person was injured in a car crash that happened in Oakland on Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 24 near Caldecott Tunnel at around 5:22 a.m.

At least three vehicles were involved in the collision, but the CHP report did not state how the accident happened.

Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not provided.
