580 Freeway Accident Leaves 1 Injured
California Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle collision in Oakland on Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred at 12:15 p.m. within the westbound lanes of the Interstate 580 Freeway.
Per reports, a silver van and black sedan were among the vehicles involved.
Upon impact, one of the vehicles overturned. The circumstances leading up to the accident are unknown at this time.
One person suffered serious injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
