North Hollywood Crash Kills Raymond Sada and Michael Pineda-Guillen
Two men were killed following a crash on Monday morning in North Hollywood.
The deadly collision occurred on October 11th in the early hours around 1:30 a.m., per reports.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash took place at the intersection of Vineland Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.
Investigators suspect the driver was heading northbound on Vineland prior to crossing into the southbound lane.
As a result, the driver crashed into a palm tree causing the vehicle to catch fire.
The male driver and passenger unfortunately died at the scene. They have been ID’d as 23-year-old Raymond Sada and 24-year-old Michael Pineda-Guillen.
An active investigation is underway to determine what may have factored into the fiery crash.
Studies show that about 20% of motor vehicle fatalities are caused by a vehicle veering off the roadway and hitting a fixed object. Among these fixed objects, trees, traffic barriers, and utility poles are most common.
Approximately half of these types of accidents occur at night time. Another interesting fact is that in 2019, studies found that a majority of these deaths took place from July to September.
JT Legal Group sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Raymond Sada and Michael Pienda-Guillen.
