Three-Vehicle Collision on Highway 74

Authorities have identified the man who died after being involved in a three-vehicle crash in Meadowbrook, Riverside County, on Tuesday night as 26-year-old Nieto Ruiz of Falbrook.

According to California Highway Patrol, Ruiz was headed on the eastbound 74 highway when his car, a van, and a third vehicle collided for reasons still unknown.

Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene by the Riverside County Fire Department.

It’s still unclear whether the two drivers of the other vehicles were hospitalized. No additional information on the accident has been released.
