Woman Struck & Killed by Vehicle on 110 Freeway
A 35-year-old woman by the name of Nicole Higgins died in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred on November 30th on the 110 Freeway near Avenue 60.
According to CHP, Higgins was hit at 4:30 a.m. in the Highland Park area in the southbound lanes.
It is unclear what caused the crash, however the involved driver stopped and was fully cooperative with authorities.
Unfortunately, the woman sustained major injuries and died at the scene of the crash.
Two of the southbound lanes were shut down for a period of time following the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
