Minor Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 15 near Winchester Road

Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday morning on a freeway in Temecula.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 6:41 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15 near Winchester Road.

A motorcycle and two other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped an unknown number of persons who sustained minor injuries.

Police officers did not immediately establish the cause of the collision, but they are investigating.
