Fatal 3-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 215 Freeway
Three vehicles collided on Thursday morning around 7:03 a.m. which resulted in the death of one person.
According to CHP, the deadly crash occurred on the 215 Freeway on November 11th.
Reports revealed that a Toyota sedan cut off an Enterprise box truck and a Ford pickup, causing the three to collide.
The Toyota became destroyed and five people ended up trapped inside vehicles.
A child also suffered from a head injury due to the impact.
Sadly, one unidentified person died at the scene of the crash.
Police also issued a SigAlert due to traffic congestion.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
