Woman Hurt Following Highway 49 Crash

Multiple vehicles collided in Tuolumne County on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in Becky Roberts being injured.

The collision took place around 1 p.m. on Highway 49, per CHP.

Roberts was reportedly driving a Subaru AWD CrossTrek before coming to a stop at a construction zone.

A Pontiac Fiero then rear-ended a Lexus ES 300 because it failed to stop at the site.

As a result, the Lexus was sent into the back of Robert’s vehicle.

Roberts’ vehicle then rolled on top of both vehicles upon impact.

Paramedics responded at the scene to treat Roberts for her unspecified injuries.

It is unclear if any others were hurt in the wreck.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
