Multi-Vehicle Collision in Crescent City

3-Car Crash Leaves 1 Hospitalized in Crescent City

Three vehicles collided at the intersection of Harrold Street and Washington Boulevard in Crescent City on Thursday, January 6th.

The multi-vehicle crash took place around 4:15 p.m., per CHP.

According to reports, a sedan, Dodge Caravan, and Chrysler PT Cruiser collided under unclear circumstances.

Upon impact, the Dodge also sustained moderate front-end damage.

In addition, one involved person complained of neck pain and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities also temporarily blocked the intersection for a period of time following the crash.

Investigators are actively working to determine liability.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
