Multi-Vehicle Buellton Car Accident Kills Joseph Nunez

On October 9 around 10:30 AM, a fatal multi-vehicle collision severely impacted the life of Joseph Nunez, a 40-year-old resident of Santa Maria, California. According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on Highway 154, just west of Meadowvale Road.

While the specifics leading up to the collision are not currently known, it’s certain that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash. According to California Highway Patrol, passengers in one vehicle were taken to Cottage Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained. A woman in another vehicle refused medical attention. Lanes in Highway 154 remained closed during investigation, which lasted around 2 hours.
