Desert Hot Springs Police Department Chief Dale Mondary has remarked Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs was shut down to traffic because of a collision on Thursday.

One person was critically injured, one died, and three adults suffered moderate injuries and were hospitalized in the crash.

Palm Drive was shut down northbound at Camino Idillio and southbound at Camino Aventura.
