Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash 

Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that took place on Sunday morning in Las Vegas. 

The crash occurred just before 5:30 a.m. on December 27th on Rancho Drive.

Per police, the rider ran a red light in an attempt to make a turn at the crossroads.

As a result, the rider collided with a Ford, resulting in the death of the 33-year-old man.

The 64-year-old female driver of the Ford did not sustain any injuries. 

The woman stopped at the scene and was also fully cooperative with authorities. 

An identity of the rider has yet to be released at this time. 

Statistics from 2019 show that 846 people were killed in crashes that involved running a red light and about 143,000 people were injured.
