5 Freeway Accident Leaves Rider Dead
A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Fe Springs.
The incident occurred on May 10th just after 4 p.m.
CHP are actively investigating what caused a sedan and motorcycle to collide within the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway.
Sadly, due to the impact, the rider was declared dead at the scene.
Police also shut down the three left lanes for a period of time as crews worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
