1 Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Rice Avenue in Oxnard

One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Oxnard, CA on Sunday night.

The fatal crash happened on Highway 101 near Rice Avenue at around 10:13 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorcyclist reportedly collided with another vehicle in unclear circumstances. The rider landed in the center divider after the collision.

One person was killed in the collision.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
