Rider Collides with Logging Truck, Resulting in Death
The cause of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon is currently under investigation.
It was at about 3:18 p.m. when a motorcyclist collided with an empty logging truck.
The accident took place on Highway 299 on August 4th in Douglas City, which is in Trinity County.
As a result, the rider became stuck beneath the truck and sadly died.
An active investigation remains underway.
