MTS Bus Accident with Motorcycle at Third and Orange Ave

Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred in San Diego Tuesday night. 

The rider was traveling at a high rate of speed before colliding with an MTS bus just before 10:30 a.m. 

The rider sadly died as a result. 

CHP reported that the wreck took place at the intersection of Third and Orange Avenue. 

An active investigation remains underway.

Tips for after accident procedures:

• Always stop at the scene 
• Call 911 if there are any injuries 
• Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
• Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
• Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
