Motorcyclist Killed in Accident
Authorities are investigating a Tuesday night fatal crash involving an Amazon delivery truck and motorcycle.
It was around 8 p.m. on October 26th when the two collided at the intersection of Alexander and Losee roads.
The motorcyclist was reportedly heading southbound, approaching Alexander when a northbound Amazon truck made a left turn on Alexander.
As a result, the unidentified motorcyclist hit the delivery truck.
He was around his 20s or 30s and sadly died at the scene upon impact.
The intersection was shut down for a while pending investigation.
Motorcycle accidents, according to the NHTSA, accounted for 14% of motor vehicle accident deaths in 2019. Motorcyclists should be fully aware of the safety challenges in which they face while riding on roads in California. Below are some tips for motorcyclists:
