Motorcyclist Larry Reed Killed in Accident

A 38-year-old male motorcyclist was killed on Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in Fresno.

The Fresno County coroner’s office has identified the man as Larry Reed, from Sanger.

According to reports, the fatal accident occurred around 1:10 p.m. on October 23rd at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and Temperance Avenue.

Reed was reportedly driving on McKinley when a minivan made a U-turn directly in his path.

Due to the impact of Reed crashing into the driver’s side of the minivan, he was ejected and sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

JT Legal Group sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Larry Reed.

U-turns are basically left turns which account for nearly a quarter of all vehicle crashes according to NHTSA.

In addition, those who are making the u-turn are often the person at fault. This is because those who initiate a U-turn must allow for enough time to make sure they don’t impact the flow of traffic.
