Fatal Highway 99 Collision Involving Motorcyclist 

Three vehicles were involved in a fatal collision involving a motorcyclist on Tuesday morning in Modesto.

According to CHP, the incident occurred at 6:50 a.m. on March 29th. 

A Scion XB struck the rider, which then caused the rider to be run over by a semi-truck on Highway 99. 

Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash. 

The name is being withheld pending notification of kin.

Investigators are actively working to determine liability. 

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
