Man Injured on Motorcycle After Being Struck by Driver

David Cosper was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash at Broadway and Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento.

Authorities identified the man as the victim of the motorcycle collision which took place last month on June 27.

The incident happened when David Cosper was riding a motorcycle in the area of Broadway and Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento. At the same time, a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection.

Sacramento police said the car then slammed into David Cosper near a gas station. The impact threw the rider into the hood, up on the windshield and onto the roof.

The motorcyclist underwent several surgeries. Meanwhile, police affirmed that two people got out of the vehicle after hitting the motorcyclist and fled on foot. Another passenger took over in the driver’s seat and soon left the site.

Officers described the car involved as a 2017 gray Hyundai Sonata with a license plate 7VMW954. Authorities are still searching for the suspects, two females and one male.
