Motorcyclist Injured In Garden Grove After Van Turns Onto Oncoming Traffic

On Saturday, July 24th, a suspected DUI driver operating a van made an unsafe lane change which resulted in the fatality of a motorcyclist. This occurred at the intersection of Haster Street and Lampson Avenue around 6:30 p.m. in Garden Grove, California. 

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene when emergency crews of the Orange County Fire Department arrived. 

The driver remained at the scene and was administered field sobriety tests which resulted in an arrest shortly after.
