Motorcyclist Arthur Maglalang Injured Accident

49-year-old Arthur Maglalang has been ID’d as the motorcyclist injured in a truck accident on Wednesday morning. 

The collision happened sometime around 8 a.m. on September 29th. It was reported that a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Highway 12 in Napa at State Route 29. 

According to CHP, the motorcyclist fell off their bike after colliding with the truck’s side-view mirror. 

The two vehicles involved were a 2015 Harley Davidson and a F-150 pickup truck. 

It has also not been established what led up to the collision. 

Authorities issued a SigAlert around 8:30 since both vehicles were blocking the roadway. 

Maglalang sustained moderate to major injuries and was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. 

Investigators are working to determine liability and anyone with information is advised to contact CHP. 

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
