Truck and Motorcycle Collide on Highway 1 and Caspar Road
Major injuries were sustained as the result of a motorcycle colliding with a truck on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on January 5th in Mendocino County around 4 p.m.
California Highway Patrol reported that the two collided under unclear circumstances.
When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they located the rider on the ground with serious injuries.
The unidentified motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital.
No reports have been made regarding the other involved driver.
An active investigation is underway to determine liability.
