Man Killed in Salinas Collision Identified
CHP reported a fatal motorcycle crash in Salinas on Tuesday, May 10th.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Natividad Road.
According to reports, 56-year-old Francisco Javier Vasquez Jr. was riding his bike north before crashing into a Ford F-150.
The truck was making a turn onto Natividad Road at the time of the accident.
Paramedics rushed the rider to the hospital where he sadly died as a result of his injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
An active investigation is underway.
