Man Killed in 5 Freeway Collision 

50-year-old Victor Cortez was killed in a traffic accident Tuesday evening in Sun Valley.

Reports included that the crash occurred on March 8th within the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway.

A motorcycle and vehicle collided for unknown reasons just north of Sheldon Street. 

Sadly, Cortez was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear at this time if he was the driver of the car or motorcyclist. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
