Major Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Crash 

A gray sedan and motorcycle collided on Sunday afternoon, resulting in major injuries on November 14th. 

The collision took place shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Garner Road. 

Per California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Lake Elsinore. 

It is unclear, however, what led to the crash. 

Due to the impact, the motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. 

Additionally, authorities shut down the intersection for a period of time for investigation. 

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death. 

Motorcycle accidents, according to the NHTSA, accounted for 14% of motor vehicle accident deaths in 2019. Motorcyclists should be fully aware of the safety challenges in which they face while riding on roads in California. Below are some tips for motorcyclists:
