Passenger Killed in Solo-Vehicle Accident

40-year-old Keonia Brown was killed in a solo-vehicle accident Monday night in Moreno Valley.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported that the crash occurred around 11:15 on April 11th.

The driver of an Acura MDX was believed to be speeding before it struck a curb and went airborne.

As a result, it hit a parked Chevrolet Silverado and then crashed into the garage of a residence. 

Both occupants of the vehicle were trapped inside and had to be extracted by first responders. 

The unidentified driver suffered unspecified injuries and sadly, Keonia Brown, the passenger, died at the scene. 

Police shut down the street for a period of time following the accident.

Investigators are actively working to gather all the details of the accident.
