Moss Landing Crash Leaves 1 Dead & 2 Injured
31-year-old Monica Gonitz, of San Jose, was left with injuries following a car accident in Moss Landing on Saturday.
Gonitz was driving north on Highway 1 on May 7th before crossing into opposing traffic.
As a result, her vehicle collided with another that was driven by a 69-year-old.
Both Gonitz and her passenger, David Ramirez, 32, sustained minor injuries.
The other driver sadly died due to the impact. Their identity is being withheld at this time.
Investigators are actively working to determine what may have led up to the crash.

- Call 911 if there are any injuries
- Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
- Exchange information with others involved and document everything
- Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
