Missouri Man Killed, 4 Students Hurt In School Bus Crash

A pick-up truck has collided head-on with a school bus in southwest Missouri. Authorities say the truck driver was killed and four students received minor injuries.

This crash happened as the driver of the bus was completing his afternoon route on Missouri 248, which is about 5 miles southwest of the town of Crane. The victim was identified by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as 47-year-old Kelly Vaught from Crane. Galena Superintendent Daniel Humble said there was no indication that the accident happened because of the bus driver.
