SUV & Motorcycle Collision Reported on 105 Freeway 

The cause of a collision between an SUV and motorcycle that occurred Wednesday morning remains under investigation.

CHP reported that the crash took place in Los Angeles on the 105 Freeway near South Vermont Avenue. 

It was at about 6:08 a.m. when the two collided within the westbound lanes. 

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries as a result. It is unclear whether or not they were hospitalized. 

An active investigation remains underway.

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
