Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Pomona 60 Freeway 

A 56-year-old man crashed into the center divider in his Ford Escape Wednesday morning. 

As a result, the man was sadly hit and killed by an oncoming vehicle on the Pomona 60 Freeway.

He has been identified as 56-year-old Miguel Rios Ledesma.

The incident took place just after 2:20 a.m. within the westbound lanes on February 23rd. 

Following the initial crash, the man exited his vehicle and was then struck by a 2012 Toyota Highlander. 

Sadly, the Huntington Park man, whose name has yet to be disclosed, died at the scene. 

The involved driver was left unharmed and stayed at the scene to fully cooperate with authorities. 

An additional vehicle also acquired damage due to the debris that was scattered on the freeway.

The crash remains under investigation.
