Martin Clifton, 59, Was Killed in Pedestrian Accident

The fatal accident happened when a man was pumping gas into his truck at the station in the 3000 block of Travis Boulevard in Fairfield. Then for unknown reasons, Martin Clifton wedged himself between the truck and the attached trailer.

The driver did not see Clifton and soon after drove off after his business. The accident resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. The Solano County Coroner’s Official  identified Martin Clifton, of Fairfield, as the victim.

Officials did note that the truck driver stopped as soon as he was made aware he hit a man. Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian accident is underway.
