Woman ID’d in Fatal Traffic Accident in Sonoma 

78-year-old Marry Ann Diaz-Moreno was killed on Friday afternoon in a traffic collision in Rohnert Park.

CHP reported that the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. on September 23rd. 

A pickup truck made an unsafe left-hand turn, causing a crash with Moreno’s Honda SUV. 

Both drivers were trapped inside of their vehicles and had to be extricated.

Paramedics rushed them to Santa Rosa Memorial with major injuries where the woman sadly passed away. 

The crash remains under investigation.
