Pregnant Woman Identified in Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Watsonville
The woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle last Thursday in Watsonville has been ID’d as Marlyn Uribe, 33.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. at South Green Valley Road on September 22nd.
According to police, Uribe was crossing four traffic lanes when a BMW hit her.
This also caused the BMW to then collide head-on with a Ford SUV.
Moderate injuries were sustained in the BMW driver and two passengers and the Ford occupants suffered only minor injuries.
An active investigation remains underway. Witnesses are urged to contact authorities at 831-889-8422.
