55-Year-Old Woman Killed in Collision 

Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fatal traffic accident that occurred in San Bernardino on Sunday morning. 

It was around 10:10 a.m. when Maria De Jesus Gastelum Ibarra Tamayo was involved in a crash. 

At this time it is unclear how many vehicles were involved or what factored into the accident. 

The collision occurred at the intersection of 5th Street and Waterman Avenue on March 20th. 

Tamayo, the  55-year-old passenger of one of the vehicles, sustained major injuries. 

She was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
