Man Seriously Hurt In Vehicle Crash In Port Sheldon Township

Troy Lange, a 49-year-old Saugatuck man, was seriously injured when his 2010 Toyota SUV north crashed into a tree. Lange was driving off Lakeshore Drive in Port Sheldon Township when he lost control of the SUV.

The vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree south of Inland Drive at approximately 5 p.m. Lange was extricated from the SUV by Port Sheldon Township firefighters and then taken to Holland Hospital by AMR Ambulance, where he was admitted in serious but stable condition. Lange was not under the influence of alcohol and was wearing a seat belt.
