One Dead Following Crash on Bennett Valley Road
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal car accident in Santa Rosa on Saturday morning.
It occurred at 6:45 a.m. on March 12th on Bennett Valley Road.
Per reports, a Volkswagen Beetle was headed east when the driver lost control and went into oncoming traffic.
As a result, the Beetle crashed into two trees then a Nissan pickup truck.
Unfortunately, the driver of the Beetle died at the scene.
In addition, the driver of Nissan was left uninjured.
Police also shut down Bennett Valley road for a few hours following the wreck.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
