Man Dies After Being Hit By Pickup Truck

A man was hit and killed by a pickup truck while crossing a South San Jose street on Wednesday night.

San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said this collision was reported about 6:30 p.m. on Branham Lane.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was walking north across Branham between Saddlebrook Drive and Monterey Highway when he was hit by a 1997 Toyota Tacoma traveling east on Branham.
