1Minor Injuries After Perris Car Accident at Kinney Street and Haines Street

One person was pinned inside an overturned car following a car accident on Wednesday afternoon in Perris, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened around 3:24 p.m. on December 7 at Kinney Street and Haines Street.

Police said a white pickup truck and a blue SUV crashed for reasons yet to be determined. The truck overturned on the driver’s side, trapping a male party inside.

Responding firefighters and medics rushed to extricate the male party inside the truck. Authorities confirmed at least one person was treated for minor injuries.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident location.

The incident remains under investigation.
