Person Seriously Injured Following Traffic Collision in Fontana on Tuesday

CHP reportedly responded to the accident on Interstate 10 at about 4:59 on August 17th.

A boxcar and a black Lexus were heading eastbound on the freeway when they collided for unknown reasons.

The crash occurred on Interstate 10 near Valley Boulevard.

While it is unclear of identities and conditions of those involved, one person was taken to a local hospital for treatment of moderate to major injuries.

There will be additional information once investigators gather more answers.
