One person suffered major injuries shortly after a car accident on Barker Creek Road Monday evening, May 17.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the single-vehicle crash happened in the 3800 block of Barker Creek Road. The car had to be careened off the highway and rolled down the embankment.

Just before 7 p.m., paramedics arrived at the scene and began treating all possible victims. The wreck resulted in major injuries for one person, but no further information on the victim was released.
