Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt Following Crash on 15 Freeway

Two vehicles collided in Temecula on Tuesday morning, one of which was a motorcycle.

The accident was reported around 6:25 a.m. on May 24th within the southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway. 

As a result, the motorcyclist went down near the center divider. There were also four passing vehicles that pulled over to assist the rider. 

Major injuries were sustained and the motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital for treatment. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault.

According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
