Unknown Crash Causes Major injuries

California Highway Patrol reported a major injury crash on Tuesday evening in San Marcos. 

The collision took place at 4:24 p.m. on Highway 78 near Twin Oaks Valley Road. 

It was reported that a Toyota Prius and at least two other vehicles were involved in the crash, however, it is unclear what caused it. 

One person was injured as a result and taken to a local hospital.

Their current condition is unknown. 

Investigators are working to determine liability.
