Palmdale Motorcycle Crash

A Palmdale motorcycle crash that involved a hit-and-run driver took place Tuesday night on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the freeway. The motorcyclist sustained leg injuries following the collision.

Meanwhile, a driver in a black Honda Accord fled the scene without stopping to help the injured rider.

The CHP group sent officers to the scene after someone called 911 around 9:49 p.m. Authorities responded to the freeway, where they found the motorcyclist injured. The victim’s motorcycle was blocking the middle lanes of the freeway, police said.

Paramedics also responded and rushed the injured person to a hospital, police said. Authorities noted there are no reports about this collision involving road rage as a factor.
