Jose Celedon Arrested in Menifee Collision
32-year-old Luis Christian Silva was killed in a motorcycle accident in Menifee on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred on May 31st at around 5:15 a.m.
According to reports, Jose Celedon was traveling south in a sedan before making a left turn directly in front of Silva’s bike.
The two collided at the intersection of Cottonwood Canyon and Bundy Canyon Roads as a result.
Silva was ejected from his motorcycle and sadly died at the scene.
It was also discovered that Celedon was under the influence at the time of the accident. He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree muder, felony DUI and DUI resulting in great bodily injury.
He is currently being held on $1 million bail. An active investigation is underway.
