Man Struck & Killed by Vehicle on Arrow Route

57-year-old Lawrence Torres died as the result of a pedestrian crash in Fontana Monday night.

The incident occurred on February 21st on Arrow Route near Mulberry Avenue. 

It is unclear at this time what caused the vehicle to hit the man. 

When emergency personnel arrived they located Torres on the ground with life-threatening injuries. 

Sadly, the victim died at the scene. 

Reports also did not include whether or not the involved driver stopped at the scene.

A stretch of Arrow Route was also closed down for a period of time by CHP for investigation purposes.

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
