14 year old killed in Hit-and-Run Collision

Lawrence Andrews III was the victim of a hit-and-run collision on Tuesday, October 19th in Apple Valley. 

Authorities arrested Chad Goodro on Monday, October 25th on hit-and-run charges after receiving an anonymous tip. 

The tragic accident occurred on Ottawa Road near James Woody Park at 8:11 p.m. 

Goodro has been charged with a felony hit-and-run causing death and was released from jail after posting bail for $50,000. 

According to witnesses, Goodro was driving an Infiniti G35 at speeds higher than 60 MPH when he struck Andrews. 

Police seized the vehicle for evidence which had damage consistent with being in an accident. 

Lawrence Andrews III was a football player at Apple Valley Highschool and hundreds of people gathered for a candlelight vigil in honor of him.
