Motorcyclist Collides with SUV in Northeast Valley
Las Vegas Police reported a major injury collision involving a motorcycle on Sunday evening.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Owens Avenue and Linn Lane.
According to reports, the rider was traveling east when it collided with an SUV that was making a left turn.
The accident occurred in the northeast valley.
Police identified the motorcyclist as a 58-year-old man from Las Vegas. He was transported to University Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
Additionally, the 21-year-old female driver of the SUV, was left unharmed.
The accident remains under investigation.
It is typically those who are making a left turn that are considered to be at fault in an accident. They must yield to oncoming traffic.
