Lucerne Valley Girls Killed in SR-247 Collision
Two 16-year-old girls died in a two-vehicle collision on Friday in Lucerne Valley.
The accident took place at the intersection of Highway 247 and Camp Rock Road on April 8th around 9 p.m.
Kristy Klaus and Kayden Davis, both 16, were backseat passengers in a vehicle driven by Klaus’ grandmother.
It is unclear at this time what caused the collision.
Sadly, both girls died as a result. Both drivers were also injured and flown to a hospital.
Additionally, a third person involved was taken to the hospital via land ambulance.
Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.
